Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the DuoSync mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Service Description

DuoSync is a couples communication app designed to help partners strengthen their relationship through daily questions. The service allows you and your partner to answer questions together, share your responses, and engage in meaningful conversations.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use DuoSync. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account with DuoSync, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not share your account with others or create multiple accounts

User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in DuoSync, including your answers to questions (both text and voice recordings). By using the App, you grant DuoSync a license to:

• Store your content on our servers
• Display your content to your partner within the App
• Process and analyze your content to provide and improve the service

You are responsible for the content you share and must ensure it does not violate these Terms or any applicable laws.

DuoSync Premium Subscriptions

DuoSync offers a premium subscription ("DuoSync Premium") with additional features available through in-app purchase.

Payment and Billing

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• The renewal cost will be the same as the initial subscription price unless we notify you of a price change

Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time by:

1. Opening Settings on your iOS device
2. Tapping your name at the top
3. Selecting "Subscriptions"
4. Choosing DuoSync from the list
5. Selecting "Cancel Subscription"

Refunds

We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use DuoSync for any of the following purposes:

• Harassment: Sending harassing, abusive, or threatening content to your partner or others
• Illegal Content: Sharing content that is illegal, promotes illegal activities, or violates any laws
• Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else or misrepresenting your identity
• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Automated Access: Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the service
• Interference: Disrupting or interfering with the App's functionality or security
• Commercial Use: Using the App for unauthorized commercial purposes

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Abuse the service or harm other users

You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Settings page in the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

DuoSync is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any content or information

We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DuoSync and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Any content or conduct of third parties on the App

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of DuoSync shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of DuoSync shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the App. Your continued use of DuoSync after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
